MULTIPLIER EVENT-PORTUGAL
Entroncamento, 9th July, 2025
On Wednesday, 9th July AECE organised the SENPower Multiplier Event, in Entroncamento, Portugal. The teachers who attended the event got in touch and learnt about the SENPower methodology and the educational materials presenting how to teach topics from the Mathematics and Nature Studies curricula at primary school level considering the specifics of students with Specific Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders – mild cases and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
Students from Inclusica Project (Include through music) were also present and gave us a hand by demonstrating some lesson plans.
The audience could hear the testimonies of the teachers’ who have been working on the SENPower project during school years 2023/24 and 2024/25.
Professor Nelson Santos, a SEN researcher, from ISEC and Lusófona Unversity, also participated and praised all the professionals involved in the project by highlighting the importance of this work and the importance of inclusive education.
